Registering with Thinkwell

Registering with Thinkwell gives you access to the online resources for your class and adds your name to your instructor's class list and gradebook. You only need to register once.

  1. Click here to go to the registration page.
    If you go to the main Thinkwell registration page, be sure to Click on Register: Classroom or Distance Learning.
  2. Read the license agreement and click I accept these terms to continue.
  3. Select the State in which your school is located.
  4. Select the name of your school or Organization.
  5. Select your Class Section and click Submit.

  6. Enter the information requested by the registration form.
    The information you provide will be visible to your instructor and will be used to link your Thinkwell account to your school grade records.
    Please make sure that the information you enter is accurate.
    1. Your email address may be used by your instructor to communicate with you. Some instructors require that you use your school email address here. Your full email address will become your Thinkwell user name.
    2. The Phone number and Student ID fields are optional unless your instructor has specified otherwise.
    3. You may choose anything you like as your password. Your Password clue will be used as a reminder if you forget your password; it should not be the same as or give away your password.
    4. Your First and Last name will be how you are listed in your instructor's class list and gradebook.
    5. The Subscription or authorization code is included with your Thinkwell CD-ROMs. It will be labeled either Subscription Code or Authorization Code. Either of these will allow you to register. You do not need both.

      The code may be located in one of three places, depending on the packaging of your Thinkwell CD-ROMs:

      • On the back of the instruction sheet included with the CDs.
      • On a label attached to the back of the disc one CD sleeve.
      • On a 5" by 5" card included inside the CD box and may have been inserted into one of the CD sleeves. The card is labeled viewing the videos.
